Fantastic hotel

Excellent hotel. Lovely room and helpful staff. Location was close to Euston so great for us and a nice 30 minutes stroll into the West End. Breakfast was great with a good choice and good value for money. Lovely little pub just around the corner as well. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel is in a great location for the tubes and was very clean, with nice staff. The only downsides were you wasn't allowed to check in, even 1 minute before 2pm, even if your room was ready and the room itself was very small, with a small double bed.

Overall, this was a good hotel. My friends and I stayed in the top floor of this small hotel for our trip to London. Highlights are easy access to the metro station and neighborhood feels very safe and walkable. Really our only complaint is that there was occasionally the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. The rooms and bathroom were kept clean, but the smell was noticeable (only at certain times and unrelated to our usage of the bathroom). Overall, this hotel met our expectations. Clean, comfortable and convenient!

Lovely hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights and loved the hygene. The proximity to King's Cross and various other underground stations was very convenient. The room was a one-bed room and quite small, but it was more than enough for me. I also loved having a kettle in my room, and there were plenty of coffee and tea bags. The loveliest was without a doubt Joe, who first helped me with my luggage the first day and then with printing my flight ticket the last! Thank you Joe, you are the best!

No lighting at the top of the stairs so could not see anything when coming back in the evenings. No signs to show which stairs led to which room numbers. The stairs to the top floor were winding and very narrow. Is this code compliant? These were difficult to navigate especially with luggage. No exit signs were inatalled. Is this code compliant?

Narrow stairs

Room was on the third floor, no elevator and stairs were very narrow from 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. For that reason wouldn’t stay here again.

This is par for the course for a traditional London hotel room. The room we stayed in would not be suitable for large or numerous luggage. Typical to traditional London hotels, there is no elevator. The stairs are narrow for "ground" and upstairs rooms, and to reach the area where breakfast was served. Some amenities are hand/body wash soap and shampoo. Water pot to heat water for instant coffee or tea. No heat for those cold London nights, but staff will provide a blanket on request. Our room was pitched from one corner to the opposite diagonal corner. Across the street, you can find a tennis court. Nice variety of food offerings within a block that you are not reliant on the train station offerings.

This is a perfect location if you’re visiting London. It’s right next to the train station with tons of food options and easy access to anything and everything you want to do. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Everything a Solo person needs!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mentone Hotel. I had a single room, which was small but had all the space I needed with a lovely shower. Overall the cleanliness was immaculate and the view out the window was great.

Very nice comfortable room. A bit small but i only stayed for one night so it was fine. Warm, clean, all necessary amenities. TV, Kettle etc. Friendly helpful staff and in a great location close to Euston Station and Kings Cross. Will definitely use again next time i need a room in London.
