This is a great little simple hotel. It was incredibly quiet, clean, comfortable and close to both Paddington station and to Hyde Park. The staff was helpful and the great hot English breakfast was served quickly and with a smile! I don’t need a fancy room that I am only going to sleep in but for me the above are most important and this little hotel delivered! I would definitely stay here again!

This is a good basic hotel. The room was comfortable (the bed more comfortable than some 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in), the heating worked well, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast included was great. The lady who runs the kitchen is just so lovely and the English breakfast they offer is cooked fresh unlike other hotels where it is kept in hot servers. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel, close to Paddington station I’d highly recommend this one.

Great location, friendly staff
Really friendly staff, especially the restaurant team, who served up a great breakfast every morning. The hotel isn’t the Ritz, but for the price you pay, it’s comfortable, feels safe and is a stones throw from Paddington station. I’d recommend for solo travellers

f you don’t mind the dirtiness, the smell , sharing with bed bugs and having no safety of a workable lock on your door, then this place is for you.!Specifically, the room was considerably smaller than advertised, and the overall condition of the property was far from what was portrayed. There was not nearly enough room for three people as described in the booking details. Additionally, to my alarm, there were signs of bed bug infestation in the room. This is completely unacceptable. There was also an unpleasant odor in the room that made it uninhabitable. The door did not lock properly either, causing safety issues. We had to urgently book an alternative hotel accommodation for the night, which caused us significant distress and inconvenience. The hotel is avoiding calls and emails from Expedia to resolve our dispute.
