I really loved this place overall! Very welcoming and comfortable stay. The beds were nice. Breakfast was pretty good, and they even had somebody making made to order pancakes with banana eyes and an apple smile. I feel like every night that I was there they did something nice for the guests. Sangria night, tapas night, etc.. The staff was excellent, and I really enjoyed my chats with them.
The location is perfect, 5min walk to citysight seeing tour bus terminal and metro train coming from and going to airport. Free breakfast with a great cofee!
I was a bit disappointed in the facilities. Since the rating was so high and the price considerably more than other hostels in Lisbon, i expected better than average. Must be because of location because i stayed in hostels that were nicer for almost half the price. Staff were wonderful speaking multiple languages. Please note that there are lots of narrow stairways for elderly or limited mobility.
The overall time of my stay was 4 nights and enjoyed every moment.
The staff is very friendly in the Hotel and everyone get together for breakfast and other time of the day as well and create a family environmental.
There was many complimentary offers other than breakfast, and you can cook your own meal. Will return for sure
Located just north of the downtown core which is a very high end street with shops, restaurants and hotels. Walking distance to grocery stores and other amenities. Pleasant hostel which is not entirely packed as it’s slow season now.
This hostel was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was very convenient. There was a lot of effort put into making the time there special and comfortable. Basics were handled well. There was a lot of extra like milkshake days, movie nights. smiley face pancakes at breakfast. Little things make a difference.
I had a great stay, thank you!
The staff was amazing! The area is central and safe. The only problem was that the rooms were a bit stuffy, no air circulation. Otherwise, everything was great!
Loved my stay. First night was in mixed 8 bunk bed. Second night was in a private suite as l was flying out early the next morning.
Bunk was very comfortable. Ask for one close to windows. Bathrooms clean. Breakfast included. Basic but plentiful.
Location was great close to a lot of buses and a few different metro stations.
Would highly recommend. Easy to get to from train station.
Me and my friend stayed 4 nights in a twin room with an en suite bathroom and we could not have been more pleased with both the kindness of the staff and the accommodations themselves. Upon arrival we were greeted and given a tour of the common spaces along with tips for how to spend our stay in Lisbon. During our stay we utilized the laundry service as well which was great, 10 euros to wash and dry clothes which were then delivered to our room. Room also had lockers to store valuables which was great for our passports. Room also had its own AC along with a remote to control it which was AMAZING.
Free breakfast was great, had options to grab and go or you could wait for a pancake and sit and eat. Very chill atmosphere, could be as social with other guests as you wanted. Overall would definitely recommend and if we are ever in Lisbon again would go back.
As a female solo traveller in her 50’s, I loved how this hostel was on the quieter side, and how the other ladies in my all female quad room were always very respectful of each other! Breakfast in the morning, and then in the evening the host would sometimes prepare homemade soups and sandwiches at no extra cost! They would go over and above with cleanliness, and there are enough bathrooms for everyone! With someone at the front entrance, I always felt safe when I came in, especially later at night.
This hostel is in the perfect area, close to everything, and an easy walk to and from the city centre. This place did not disappoint!
Truly one of the most well-covered hostel I have stayed at! They thiught of everything.
The staff is incredibly helpful. From the time I arrived, I was given a very informative tour down to the sardines art!
They respect your privacy. After the property tour, I was handed me off to another staff member to enter the female dorm.
They have an entire wall with information for places to eat, see, tour, etc. Plenty of room to lounge. Breakfast in the monring.
***If you go after Nov 30th, the Wonderland Christmas Market will be open. 3 minute walk.
I liked that each bed has a curtain for privacy, a place to put the bag, a rack for clothes and a locker to lock. There was always a free and private shower, which means you shower and get dressed inside, not in a public space. The breakfast was very satisfying, including pancakes prepared on the spot, coffee machine, tea, toaster, microwave. I would be happy for a cucumber and tomato. Eat in a common space so that interaction is created between the different people and acquaintances. In the evening, there is usually a free soup, sometimes also a Spanish tapas evening. Rooms with shared TV and Netflix. The location is excellent right on the Marquis Pombal for walking and public transport.
