Was a great large room for the three of us. We weren't sure what to expect but it was amazing and the location was amazing as well. Would definitely stay again. I was considered with one of the reviews regarding parking but it was so easy.

The location was between major attractions. It definitely needed an Uber trolley to and from places as it was up hill. The Uber was more convenient than the trolley to the train station. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was available but required you to order and would take 30 minutes for 10 Euros. We did not have breakfast with them. We walked up the street to a bakery. We had two bedroom suite which was ideal with two teenagers. Everyone had their space. We enjoyed our day trip to Cascais.

The Lapa B&B was cozy and comfortable. The trolly stop in front was very nice and enabled us to get around and back with the classic rattling car. Very pleasant.

It’s an health hazard !!! Our room had a strong smell of mold, The room was recently decorated but signs of damp and mold were still noticeable all around. Bathroom ceiling was covered with mold and there was a leak behind the toilet. The shower tray was blocked. The sink didn’t drain. Toilet didn’t flush! There were multiple air fresheners scattered around bedrooms and bathroom but the intense musty smell of mold and damp was awful. Our room was on the ground floor facing the noisy street. When windows were open, we could smell the mold from the outside when walking passed our room. After staying the first night reluctantly due to reception not reachable after 4:30pm, we checked out early the next day and asked for a refund for rest of the booking. The staff was understanding, apologetic and helpful.
