Comfortable stay. Close ti many places. If you just want to be left alone, and dont need any frills, this is a great place for you. The innkeeper was very helpful and courteous. The entryway kind of took us aback at first. Its like youre walking into someone's house. But had a great experience.

A bit of a walk from the station, but it was nice to stay in a japanese style room in Kyoto. Space to open luggage is a bit limited since we had 6 large luggage, but overall enjoyed the stay. Rooms were cleaned everyday day and amenities resupplied. Host was super friendly and helpful even though I couldn't communicate well in Japanese.

They give you a picture and the rooms are clean. The reception area is very messy and really messy s bit a lobby. The staff is friendly. The elevator is very small. It’s a bit loud as all rooms are facing the street. It’s somewhat convenient as it’s 10 mins walk to Kyoto station. Not a lot of places to eat around it.

Nice little Inn. Good value for the money. But not a hotel type of place. Make sure you bring cash at check in because the city tax is only payable by cash! Small and tied but good for what we needed. Typical Japanese which means that you will sleep in mat and suitcases /bags can not be on the mat which is the more spacious area. The area where you store baggage in your room is VERY tight. There is no space to lay out your stuff and even your everyday items such as brushes etc. it was Ik by us but gets a little use to. Bathroom is very small a well so if you are a big / tall person, I would say it will be hard. Basic amenities. Washer and dryer in the lobby and coin operated. Good motion not too far from the station but a k hike to all major downtown activities. Again, not a big deal for us as we used metro and buses, but needs to be thought through.

we loved our stay! The staff were friendly, rooms clean and very quiet. It was also in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Kyoto station and steps to the nearest bus and subway stations.

The hotel was 11 minutes from the train station, not 4 as advertised and we had to sleep on the floor, not on futons as advertised. In addition we had to use slippers throughout the hotel.

I don’t think it’s good value. The hotel has no lobby for guests to even sit to put shoes on and space at the hotel entrance is very cramped, narrow and crowded for even one person to walk through with any baggage. Owner only offered one tea bag a day for a two persons room. I will not consider coming back again in the future.

店主雖然話少但是樂於幫助, 還為我們拍照留念, 超棒的! 旅店位置也很方便, 外面就有汽車到清水寺。距離京都車站也不遠, 一路上都有便利店, 還有兩間有名的燒肉店

Owners feel like your friends

Great room. Super nice owners. Very clean and reasonable rate. If you sleep "warm," ask for a blanket because the comforters can make you sweat. Also, the location is very close to the Kyoto Station, but not too close. We look forward to staying there again.

Amazing host and hostess, they go above and beyond for guests. They helped us made reservation and even stand in the cold outside to help us get a taxi. Clean and convenient place. 5 minutes walk from subway station. You can store your luggage at the common area after check out. Such a wonderful place to stay and for sure will stay there again.

Excellent!

Fantastic little ryokan off the main tourist strips (definitely a good thing). Not a mass of restaurants around but some great little fins if you get out and explore. 10 mins walk to Kyoto station and 5 mins walk to subway. Bus stop 2 mins walk. Amazing service and lovely tatami ensure rooms. Great experience!
