Clean room, comfortable bed. The hotel is INSIDE the Kyoto Station, making it easy and convenient to travel both with Shinkansen and local trains. Just like most hotels in Japan, the room is small even the room with twin beds. Just like most major train stations, Kyoto Station is a maze although it's easier to navigate compared to the Shinjuku or Tokyo station. From 1500 to 1800, all guests can have unlimited non-alcoholic drinks such as sodas, juices, coffee, and matcha latte.

Helpful staff and comfy beds but soundproofing not great considering it is right next to the railway. Blinds in the bedroom were very poor, letting in lots of light. The laundry facilities were charged per item unfortunately, the shower head was fixed in position and the breakfast wasn’t great.

We we’re looking for hotel very close to the Kyoto station and this one and another ( the hotel Granvia) were our choices.Location right at the station was great.We were disappointed re the buffet breakfast ( the Japanese menu were basic and the western menu too) no fresh fruits to go with the yogurt.Coffee however was excellent.We were given a complimentary lounge access …which was great but they only serve coffee,water but not tit bits.
