It was a pleasure to stay in such a unique room. The room was very clean and the host was very interesting and friendly. There is a bus nearby, which is very convenient.
很高興能入住這麼有特色的房間,房間也很乾淨,主人也非常的有趣和友善。附近就有公車可以搭乘,非常的方便。"
"Beautiful area, amazing food, the hot springs out in nature are great. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the whole experience is amazing. Worth it even if it's just one night."
"The landlord is very nice and helpful. The property is very clean and decorative. This is the most comfortable place during our vacation in Japan. Strongly recommend this wonderful house. "
"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "
"It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."

"I had the most comfortable stay! Everyone was so accommodating and kind, the amenities are incredible. Highly recommend if you’re in Kyoto!"
"We spent 1 night at this traditional Japanese inn. Our room was great and it was a wonderful experience to stay somewhere with tatami mats and sleep on futons. The riverside hotel is located in the most stunning, quiet, and peaceful forest. We enjoyed exploring the quiet beauty of it. We chose the half board rate which gave us supper and breakfast. The traditional food was delicious and very filling and eating riverside while it was raining was a highlight of our family trip to Japan. We did not use the onset as it was just too hot outside and have a warm bath did not seem refreshing to us. The shuttle to the train station made things very convenient. The property is old, and can use an update, but it was the location that was important to us. We had a wonderful time. "

"The ryokan was beautiful and the experience was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive and caring. Thank you for the wonderful experience!"
"This is a good choice to have the convenience of a modern hotel in a vary traditional and historic Japanese setting. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the two nearest metro stations, but you can take the walk through the Imperial Garden. The south stop offers direct service to Kinkauji Temple on the 204 and the north stop offers direct service to Gingakuji Temple on the 203. And the Imperial Palace is right across the street. Restaurant was very good. Wifi worked fine. Staff's language ability was limited."
"Staying at Kamo Residences was an absolute pleasure. Check-in was quick, and the place itself is pure luxury—beautiful interiors, a fantastic layout, designer furniture (high-end, solid and comfy). The full kitchen, washer-dryer, and microwave made everything super convenient. Room cleaning 3 times per day, plus bed turnover while we were out for dinner. Beds are high, thick and comfortable, nice support. We asked for harder pillows, no problem. Sheets and bedding silky. Cleanest hotel I have seen - ever. Dinner was arranged by front-desk who set us up with a two star Michelin restaurant the same day, nice! The hotel arranged a great chauffeur and tour guide for us, taking us to Arashiyama and spending half a day exploring Gion (very friendly and knowledgable gent). Breakfast was custom-made for us—a Kyoto-style bento box, hot and fresh. We’re headed to Tokyo now but will be back for a four-day stay next week. Can’t wait to return. Thank you to Rio, Maru and all the other staff.
