"The hotel staff are exceptional, and the Cross Hotel is in superb condition.... clean, excellent working condition, orderly. The warmth and assistance provided at check-in by a very professional and personable woman, (shame on me I don't recall her name), was greatly appreciated. We particularly enjoyed the special corner room which we occupied for just that one special night. The hotel's location near mass transit and its central location make it well suited for the traveler. It's just a block from the river which has nice walking paths, and across the street from an expansive shopping area with varied and interesting shops. Not a criticism here but a suggestion. Your check-in system is intended to enable the client to readily perform the task but regrettably it is a little cumbersome, so you have to provide staff to coach us through it. I'd suggest you just automate the process for the staff, so it is expedient and there is no embarrassing coaching. In any case, this was clearly the finest stay we had in Japan on either of our two trips. Thanks, M&M"
