"Lovely stay and super attentive staff. My bed was a bit soft. The free onsen usage on site was great. The resturant appeared to have a bigger menu than the limited Shabu Shabu that was shown in English, I wish we had known about that as the other patrons food looked amazing. Lots to do in walking distance from the hotel and free parking on site. "

"Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Onsen bath facilities are excellent, clean and very quiet. We had a great overnight stay here and will be back for sure in our next trip to Beppu. Highly recommended."

"I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. It is easily accessible from the highway Amand is very well situated close to the mountain road leading to the amusement park, the safari and Yufuin. "

"The hotel was great and had your own parking, but not walking distance from anything; however very close driving distance to tourist spots. Location of the hotel is right next to the expressway entrance to either go to Oita or Yufuin, your like in the middle. Overall excellent hotel!! "
