"Kunisakiso Ryocan was lovely. We ended our trip in Kyushu here, and it was very relaxing. We get to book a private bath, and the family bath is a first come first serve, so we split that between my dughter and I in the family bath whie my husband took the private bath - no bathing suits allowed. They also have a huge public bath, but my daughter would not have anything to do with that. After a few very heck days, our two night stay was a much needed rest. We missed the evening dinner reservation...

"I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. "The hotel was great and had your own parking, but not walking distance from anything; however very close driving distance to tourist spots. Location of the hotel is right next to the expressway entrance to either go to Oita or Yufuin, your like in the middle. Overall excellent hotel!! "

"Not the most updated building but functional. The location is okay, would recommend a car if staying in this area. They offer bike rental but we stayed here for three days and only saw one bike available. We had a nice view though. The bed and pillows are not that comfortable so bring or buy a comfortable pillow for a good sleep if you're staying for more than one night. "
