"Room was very spacious, bed and pillows were comfortable, and the location could not have been more central. The hotel had hundreds of restaurants and bars within walking distance and is close to a major rail station. However, even though in the middle of the hustle and bustle the building was very quiet and we were able to get excellent rest. Would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Kyoto. "

"Koko Hotel Kyoto Sanjo was a wonderful hotel stay. The atmosphere was great, the staff were warm and accommodating, and breakfast was a treat. The hotel itself is located right near the markets, and is walking distance from Nishiki. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Kyoto again. "I'm thoroughly impressed with the service I have received at Kyoto Tokyu hotel. I have stayed in other hotels in Japan, but this is one hotel where I felt really welcome, taken care of, and safe as a single woman traveller. The service staff have excellent "omotenashi" skills and are very generous, and I felt very comfortable communicating with them. Although the room was a basic standard room, the faciliites were nothing short of excellent. It was very easy for me to visit the top locations in Kyoto by commuting by bus near the hotel. Most hotels allow for check-in at 3 p.m. and check-out at 10 a.m., but at Tokyu, you can check-in at 2 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. I thought this was really great. Overall, it was very much worth every yen I spent on the room. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I return to Kyoto, and will for sure recommend their services to people I know. Thank you very much, Hotel Tokyu! (P.S. I thought it was really cool that they had the option to play the radio in the room, and the lady staff who helped me out in the room was really kind!)"
