"Room was clean and modern. I thought the lobby spaces were underwhelming, though. "

"Room shower was not a good design. Water poured out within 30 secs of turning the shower on. No lotion, slippers, or water available, had to call for slippers ( much needed since the floors had a lot of dust and turned the bottom of the slippers gray/ black in less than a few hours of wearing it). There were wet spots on the sheets that smelled very heavily of laundry detergent upon arrival. Rooftop and other lounges around the hotel were very nice."

"The Allen Hotel is in a fantastic location, very easy for exploring the Lower East Side and Brooklyn. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a little bit of noise from the street as Allen Street is a main road, but I slept well. There are plenty of places nearby for breakfast and it was great to have a wide range of options. Orchard Street nearby has lots of restaurants. Overall I was very happy with my stay and also felt safe there."

"Since the last time I stayed at the Moxy, no more than a year the hotel has degraded visible… the gym for instance which is one of the amenities I enjoyed the first time I stayed is poorly taken care, the water filter showed sign of corrosion and it was not working. The room hygiene was also questionable, the toilet poorly cleaned and floor was also dirty. Towels were limited. After this I do not think will be staying again at the Moxy."
