"Upon arrival I found the room to be really dirty, only one towel, the television wasn’t working, no toilet seat, a dry loogy in the sink, and the walls had what looked like boogers on it, so I went to request another room and the clerk did switch me. She took me to another room and she had me check to see if the toilet seat was good and I agreed. "I booked for 5 people. 4 seniors and 1 younger adult. We were given a very small unit with 1 room. We were cramped. The sofa was not even a sofa bed, we had to improvise adding the ottochair so the legs of kuya (80 yrs) won't be hanging. Mattress were spread ON THE FLOOR . Poor Ate (73 yrs) had the difficulty to get up from the floor. Btw, the mattress has to be folded because when spread completely, it will block the door.The caretaker was apologetic but maybe forgot to report to the owner...

"This waterfront property is underated. The rooms may be a bit dated but every other aspect is and should 5 Stars! From the moment you enter from the main road you will see manicured grounds and roads lined with beautiful flowers and trees. At night it is all lit up. You can enjoy avery romantic stroll anytime and feel the cooling ocean breeze. The reception area is well organized with staff and service. You will like a celebrity arriving to a premier opening. Luggage is gathered and ready to be delivered to your room. Treat yourself to the Junior Suite. Trust me - It is worth the very few extra pesos. If you are considering a venue for a wedding you must give this place a chance. The sales team knows how to put the right package together for your desires. We just had our dream garden wedding ceremony here and the Kalaw Event room was transformed into a scene from a movie. The food and staff had everything organized, prepared and served without any delays. The food was also of 5 Star quality and portions were more than enough. This is the only Insular property we have stayed at numerous times. If visiting another city, I would not hesitate staying at another Insular property because I am sure the same level of care and service would be maintained throughout the all locations. Lastly, the two restaurants provide an excellent selection at very reasonable prices. The morning buffet could be open a little longer but it is worth getting up for. I will be back again!!"

"It’s not worth the price, it’s an old property and the Breakfast was horrible both days. There’s no elevator, and there’s really nothing special about the hotel for the price. They don’t provide any water in the room and you could tell they were trying to save money and not have much amenities for the guests."

"Very nice. Low key and chill. It's different from the box hotels im use to. I really like it. It is very clean and the staff is amazing. It is minimal but very nice and well maintained. The room has a firm bed a flat screen tv and small table with 2 chairs and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a nice large toilet with a large shower/tub. They will cook for you for a very small fee. They also got me a taxi to the airport. It is very close to the airport. Maybe 3 to 5 min. They have drinking water outside. I would 100% stay here again."
