Dongcheng hotel rooms a the Ascott

"The hotel was in a great area, right next to a shopping mall filled with amazing restaurants and on the other side of the mall is wangfujing street. It's also a 20 minute walk to the palace museum, tianamen square, and qianmen street so probably an unbeatable location for the price range. The condition of the hotel was good. The rooms were large and comfortable, the water pressure was good, good views. My experience with the staff was fantastic. They were all very welcoming and helpful. I do want to call out Nora Liu in particular because after I found out that the great wall was sold out, she provided other fantastic options and helped me book them. She also helped me plan a great wall trip and was just overall very warm and inviting every time I saw her. I would definitely stay here next time I'm in Beijing"

"Such a prime location need to walk 15 min either way for subway but accessible to at least two lines. Also can get cab or Didi easily as hotel is easy to find. The street is a famous foodie street and worth to explore. Loved the friendly faces of the hotel. Only downside is the breakfast and food in the hotel, personally thinks not worth it."

"We had good experience while staying in the hotel, from front desk lady Cassie Chen who changed room when we have concerns and helped to get extra blanket , to clean lady in our room, and service staff in breakfast room. The hotel is also in excellent location, close to city center. Will definitely come back again."

"Very convenient, easy access with 2 subways under 10 minutes walk. A few restaurants and a 7/11 opposite the hotel. Breakfast has very limited western choice and heaps of local fares, but then you dont come to China to eat western food. I would like to thank and appreciate for all the help Angela offered to recover my lost mobile phone. Angela you are a champion! Thank you"
