"When we arrived, there was no record of our booking. The owner came to speak with us and indicated that they do NOT WORK WITH EXPEDIA for bookings and had no record of a reservation. We reached out to Expedia via chat and they said they could not refund our full stay because the date of the first night of the stay was less than 24 hours away. "I felt comfortable, despite initial problem with my reservation through Expedia (which took 3 calls to resolve), and some construction noise. I stayed 4 nights in the 6bed dorm room. I miss the hostel dog Amazon, the most. It's a very basic hostel but staff/volunteers/owner/guests were very nice. "It has a nice view and good food, also the lady was nice all the time. We had some issues with the reservation because they said I only had one room but I reserved 2. Also, the rooms were kind of hot and not AC, but we opened the windows and couldn't sleep because of frogs and dog noises all night. They have a big dog there, and also mosquitos. "
