"This is a beautiful old hotel. The staff were amazing!! We loved our stay here ( second for me) and would always stay here if in Lisbon. The British bar and breakfast were delightful."

"We only booked a standard room. There was a kettle provided but no power outlet to use it other than the floor. Tea but no coffee or milk. We were told there were coffee pods on level 1 for €1/pod. There was only 1 paper cup provided in the room. There was a desk but no power outlet. Reception did offer to move us the following day we declined due to their stipulation that our luggage had to be packed before noon and stored until a room was available. Nicole from reception did her best to assist by providing a power bank and two glasses. She was extremely pleasant and an asset to the hotel. Black out curtains did not fully close resulting in a corridor sensor activating during the night. The refrigerator was in a cupboard beside one of the beds resulting in the need to sleep with earplugs. The breakfast room was like a school canteen only with tablecloths. It is without doubt the worst hotel we have encountered in the last 5 weeks of travel. Pity as the location was excellent"

"The hotel has central A/C and unable to control room temperature. The room is outdated but clean. Breakfast is small area with long wait lines. The food is good. "

"We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were always friendly and happy to answer questions. The lobby and room were clean. We had an issue where every time we showered, there would be a large pool of water forming on the floor presumably from water leaking through the glass shower door. This wasn’t a huge concern, as it could be wiped and not return until the shower was used again. However, the main downside to the hotel was the lack of sound insulation. We could hear doors closing, toilets flushing, and voices traveling through our room from early morning to night."
