"Wonderful stay at Hotel Mundial in Lisbon. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We were able to checkin very early, breakfast was included. They have a rooftop bar with great views as well as an amazing restaurant with view of the city. Bar lounge on the mail floor. Great location with many restaurants and sightseeing very near the hotel."

"The only word I could use here is EXCELLENT. My room was fantastic on all levels. The price was very affordable around June 11th. Just a short taxi or Uber from the airport, or a semi-long Metro ride. The hotel is pleasantly located near everything, but quiet in my experience. My room was utter perfection. Great great great bed and bedding. Amazing yet small bathroom and shower with excellent water pressure and very hot water if needed. Even if you are on long layover, with perhaps only 3 or 4 hours of sleep possible, you will appreciate the peaceful clean calming restful "cave" taking you away from the world till your next flight. I wouldn't even THINK of staying anywhere else when I come to visit Lisbon for a real stay. I stayed in the section with the entrance down the street a little. That section may be brand new. My room sure looked it. So great for a single traveler. I had a small single room. There are many room size options, as I recall. Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a fabulous place for an inexpensive stay. I stayed on a Thursday night. I'm not sure what weekend prices are though. They also give you a glass bottle of complimentary spring water. A nice brand. The closet, desk, side tables, EVERYTHING was immaculate and perfectly new looking and organized so well. My room was small though, which I liked. It was just the right amount of room. And the bed was one of the greatest I've ever encountered in my life."

"What can I say other than WOW! I booked this as a last-minute trip to join friends out there. From the moment I booked, they were attentive and wanted to be of assistance wherever they could. Once you arrive, you are greeted by the most friendly, welcoming, and attentive porter/doorman. He couldn’t go further for you if he tried, and whilst always with a smile and friendly demeanour. The check-in staff made the whole experience of checking in smooth and quick. They give you every bit of advice and information you need for your trip and are there to assist. The only thing I would pick is that to get ice to the room is impossible, and after checking out, I found out that to actually get it, you have to pay, which shocked me even as a Brit. Other than that, the room facilities/features, rooftop bar, spa, and being only a 75-room hotel, you feel like you’re at home but better! I have been mentioning this hotel to friends and family to come visit, but for sure, I will be staying with you again many more times."
