"Great experience Terrific value for money! Centrally located in Palermo, the rooms were very nice size and the bathrooms well appointed. Most exciting was the size of the shower (European showers tend to be quite small and this one was decent size) However, the best part about this hotel is the rooftop restaurant. We dined there for dinner with superb service from Natalia! The food, drinks and views were out of this world! Was able to have breakfast there as well (included in rate) ...

"We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. "We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved this gem of a hotel. Francisco in Reception was very knowledgeable and helpful, arranging our off-site parking and telling us about Ortigia. The breakfasts were great and the location of the hotel is wonderfully convenient. The breakfast terrace overlooks the bay and the quiet murmur of people strolling up and down the street is nice to hear, as it has a cheerful vibe. Very highly recommended."

"I would definitely come here again. The owners/staff were wonderful and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and with a great seaview. It is a short walk to the piazzas, restos and shopping. The parking fee is worth it since there is nowhere to park in the city unless you are a resident. Once we arrived, we did not use our rental car again until it was time to leave. If you are going to Taormina, I highly recommend this charming, very personal hotel. Seeing Mt. Etna was a treat. "
