"If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area. "The staff welcomed us the minute we stepped into the lobby. Rather than standing at the reception desk, they sit with you at a table and you check-in. The onsen is nice and clean, our room was a good size, and the room amenities are replenished daily. I would stay here again. "
