"You can't beat the location, right across from the entrance to the Cathedral. The hotel is in a very old building and they have done a good job of updating over time. Our attic room had a flight of stairs inside the door to the room and had a level above that. Service was good, cleanliness generally good, but there was a lot of sandy debris on the bedcover when we arrived - I assume because the windows had been left open. We cleaned it off and it did not show up again. Would stay there again,...

"Absolutely loved it here. Peaceful, pretty and welcoming. The champagne was lovely and not over priced in the mini bar. Only suggestion eould be to include tea and cofee making favilities on the room. Would definitely return."

"The hotel was very good in all respects. Apart from only having paper cups in the room for tea or coffee. Also the small plastic containers of milk were not really expected in a 4 star hotel. "

"This property is in a wonderful location, easily walkable all around the town to shopping, restaurants and site seeing. When you walk inside, you are taken back to life from generations past. Very clean, staff is nice and accommodating too. "

"The single bed room was the smallest so far among where I have lived in Europe. The bathroom was therefore also the smallest I have ever experienced, which was not very convenient for showers. The location was top. The staff speaks English and was friendly. The service team in the breakfast cafe was not as friendly as the hotel staff but okish. Overall, I would recommend the place for small budget travellers but I myself wouldn't choose it the next time I visit Strasbourg."

The problem was that we booked parking for a car of unknown size as we were renting it the day before. They left it out on the street not in a parking spot which they said was ok as it was Sunday.
