The resort is well maintained, clean, large rooms/bathrooms, and has a nice beach with snorkeling. We enjoyed our stay there. The only problem is the buffet in the La Posada restaurant which the food was horrendous. The other restaurant options were excellent.

We liked the property a lot. The staff was very kind and helpful whenever needed. I love that you have a life guard at the ocean / pool area. I would suggest conditioner in the shower since it does have shampoo. We had a wonderful time.

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. My son is a celiac so buffets are always tricky to navigate or no-gos in general so when I let them know about his condition the staff prepared celiac safe food for him. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were very nice. Would stay here again.

The rooms are looking worn and there was damage to quite a few of them and guests needed to be moved as ceilings fell in after a rain. The food was mediocre, and difficult to book into the specialty restaurants (which never looked busy) because you can only register during certain hours. If you are there to dive, you are not available during those hours, so its the general restaurant every night. Staff is friendly and very hard working. Bartenders are generous. The adult pool seemed to not be filtering well and was pretty dirty the entire week I was there. On the positive side, lots of lounge chairs, two pools and beach options so something for everyone. Beds are comfortable, airconditioners work well, and property is overall very clean.

Our 7th stay at this resort! Food is horrible, yes even the Royal Club! If you’re a burbon drinker, good luck, most all liquor is bottom shelf! Take your own cup for drinks, I was served in dirty glasses several times. Management don’t have a clue on food & drink and won’t listen to your suggestions at all. Main dinning room did not have a/c and no open air so you melt as you try to eat! It’s a nice location and a great beach and the employees maintain very well. It is in need of full renovation, so show up with lower expectations! 20 years ago this was a top notch property in Cozumel and it could be again with new management but sadly I’m sure it never will!

We were left to figure most things out ourselves. The food was sad and most of the time cold. The grounds are very spread out. Pretty sure I reserved an ocean side room…all we could see were trees and the next building. We signed up for the “glass bottom boat” snorkel excursion apparently that doesn’t actually mean the boat is glass bottomed. The staff was nice but not very helpful. The best part was the beach

The rooms were clean and the bed was actually very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, well maintained amd taken care of. The staff was very friendly. The service was good, but very. The buffet at lunch was horrible. Options were small and didn't ever really look appetizing. Breakfast was decent. However, just because they open at a certain time doesn't mean everything will be available. Breakfast at 7:00, but you might want to wait until 7:30 if you want anything other than toast, fruit or yogurt. Dinners were decent. We probably won't come back and definitely wouldn't bring our young adult kids or other family here.

I would say the food was average. Michael and Maria on the front desk were so helpful and kind. The maid for our room was excellent. Overall the Hotel is so pretty and staff kind and courteous. Entertainment every evening. Easy to hire rental car from Hotel. Recommended.

The room was spotless upon arrival, and the housekeeping team refreshed our towels daily. Every staff member we interacted with was welcoming, especially the waiters from Coral restaurant Joni Miguel, Miguel jefe de bares, Sergio, Luis. who provided us an excellent service, super friendly and responsive. The buffet overall has an amazing delicious options and hot dishes like made-to-order eggs. It gets busy around 9 AM, so go early to beat the crowd. The colonial style is beautiful throughout the resort with beautiful scenery, vegetation and views. We thoroughly enjoyed very much our stay and planning to come back in the near future.

The Royal level manager, Itzel, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. While the food at the resort is not 5-star (compared to other resorts we've been to), there was always something we enjoyed eating.

I enjoyed breakfast and the staff Julio or I’m sorry it might’ve been Juan was amazing. Quickly recognized me no exactly my preferences he would immediately bring me coffee and a champagne cocktail every morning right on time. He was very attentive and kind to me. This is also true of others that were present at breakfast. I actually look forward to going to breakfast just to be in the company of people who honestly cared about my vacation my time and my wants. Needless to say it was five star by all measurable means.

Beautiful property. Setup was perfect. If you're a beer drinker, just know it's only Heineken and DosXXs. They do provide Tecate light for the rooms, but Dos seems to be the beer of choice there. My family of four had a great time, not many activities for the littles, but luckily they love the ocean and the beach, so we were good. One of the of the only properties on this side that actually has their own private beach. Cozumel is separated by private beach clubs, and we were lucky to find a resort that has an actual beach with native sand..
