"We recently stayed at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen and loved every minute! Having visited many Mexican resorts, I can confidently say this is the best one yet—we were already planning our return before we even checked out. The service is top-tier. We felt pampered and special thanks to the incredibly friendly staff. A special shout-out to the 24/7 Nespresso shop team, especially Oriel, for the best coffee and treats. We also loved the thoughtful details, like poolside mangoes on a stick and local sweets around the resort. We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday, and the staff ensured it was perfect. From surprise gifts in her room to an incredible birthday dinner at Cielo—thanks to our wonderful server, Fernando—the experience was flawless. A huge thank you to Angelo, the concierge, for making her day so memorable. The animation and kids’ club teams were the highlight of our trip. Our children were constantly engaged with fun, creative activities like face painting, crafts, and games. They loved it so much they begged to go! Thank you to everyone at the resort for your hard work. You truly created an unforgettable family experience!"

"My sister and I recently stayed at Paradisus La Perla in Playa del Carmen, and we had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The resort has a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway, but it's also a great destination for sisters or friends looking for a fun, relaxing trip to Playa del Carmen. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Monica at the front desk. She made check-in seamless and immediately made us feel valued as guests. Shortly afterward, we met Luis (aka "Padrino"), who introduced himself as our dedicated Food & Beverage Host. Luis truly elevated our vacation experience. He checked in with us every day to make sure everything was going well, recommended restaurants based on our preferences, and even handled all of our dining reservations. His attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. Another standout was Gabriela from the Guest Services team. She reached out to us during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, which was such a thoughtful touch. We did experience an issue with the air conditioning in our original room, but Gabriela responded immediately. She quickly arranged for us to be moved to another room and made sure the transition was smooth and stress-free. Her prompt attention and commitment to making things right ensured our vacation remained exceptional. The resort itself is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, and the overall vibe"

"The staff is very helpful and even went out of their way to print a bus ticket for me. The location is unbeatable, and even though it is right on Quinta, it is one of the quieter sections. The building is older and some of the finishes might throw someone off if it is their first time travelling off-resort. However, everything worked fine and the room was fresh and clean. There is a small pool and a rooftop palapa, but the palace area could have used some extra love and cleaning, and the pool also seemed a touch murky. If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable base in a great location and with attentive reception staff, I highly recommend."
