"Great location"

"Beautiful house! Furniture was comfortable. Clean and plenty of linens. Rooftop view of the city was great! We were only there due to an unexpected situation and didn't get to fully utilize/enjoy the space, but we are very thankful for the stay. Would note that staying in Old San Juan is noisy: you can hear cars, music, talking, etc during the night from inside. That's part of it but maybe not great for everyone. "

"Friendly staff and great location right in the heart of Old San Juan. Despite what Hotels.com says you dont need to wait for an email from the hotel or arrange anything with them ahead of time. The front task is staffed 24/7 and they were wonderful. This place is about a 10 minute walk to the cruise port (although beware, there are 2 cruise ports in San Juan). Would definitely stay here again. Great value!"

"The staff was wonderful! Excellent customer service. The room was clean and I loved the bed- very comfortable with great linens, pillows and the best blanket I’ve had at a hotel and I have been to nice properties. It came in handy because the room was cool. The cable was also good and the bathroom had a lighted mirror. "

"We ended up staying here due to a bad VRBO Host experience. Hotel El Convent was AMAZING! The hotel is absolutely timeless and beautiful. The ONLY thing I would recommend for guests not to have is a car. If you decide to stay here, please do it, but don't rent a car. Either Uber or scooter around. Otherwise, great experience, customer service, cleaniness, attention, hospitality.....GREAT!!!!!"
