"Hotel decepcionante! Cheguei em Lisboa com uma temperatura de 28ºC , e o ar condicionado do hotel simplesmente não funcionava! Reclamei de todas as formas, mas eles alegavam que estavam no inverno, e o sistema estava configurado apenas para aquecer. Resultado final, fiquei com calor, não consegui dormir, abri a janela e entrou um monte de mosquitos, terrível! Vc não pode controlar a temperatura do seu quarto nesse hotel, fujão dele!!"

"The hotel was right on pink street which did make it a little hard to get to. The noise wasn’t too bad since I do live in a city but music did play until 5am. One thing I want to call out, which not sure if it is clear to others, this hotel was a brothel so that means it is catered to that type of environment. Not a place to stay with friends haha. Since this was a last min accommodation due to another awful place, it was booked in a rush so not much research was done. To be clear, if you’re there for that type of thing it’s fine but staying with a friend was a little uncomfortable. If you want an “intimate” stay, this is the place for you. Check in staff was nice but it would’ve been nice for the listing to be super clear about what kind of hotel it was."

"Locke de Santa Joana is a quirky, unique, and very enjoyable place to stay. Built in a beautifully converted monastery, the property still retains many of its original architectural features, which gives it a lot of character and makes it feel very different from a typical hotel. Our room was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and had an excellent bed—we slept very well. We also loved how completely dark the room became at night. The layout of Building D was a little confusing at first, particularly with the negative floor numbers and the top floor being labeled “0,” which is very unfamiliar to Americans, but once we figured it out, it was fine. The food on the property was excellent. We enjoyed both the breakfast and the small outdoor café. The staff was friendly and helpful, although we did handle our own luggage. The location was also very convenient for the sightseeing we wanted to do around Lisbon. This is not a traditional luxury hotel, but it doesn’t try to be. It is stylish, comfortable, distinctive, and an excellent property for what it is. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."
