"The resort is dated but it does correspond to the price bracket. It is more chalet than hotel. Staff in the restaurant were great. The fried rice is excellent. The beach is clean and we had starfish sightings."

"Our state was very nice. No problems. Just to be aware that this is not the touristy part of town. With no offense meant, we were the only white couple. We saw the whole time in this area. Everyone was smiling and friendly. No problem whatsoever with the locals they were very welcoming!"

"Nice home stay with good facilities, silent and peaceful place to stay. No distractions among the neighborhoods. Safety place and friendly in charge. Guest are welcome with pleasure. "Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. The resort offers and train/boat ride through the property, which is beautiful and loads of fun. The waterpark has a couple of fun slides. The waterfall hike is a must and I also enjoyed the first and second nature walks. It offers round trip transportation to Lumbur Hills National Park for 10 ringgit each way if you don’t...
