"Cosy/homely and very clean place but not modern. A countryside feel. The first day we could not see Mt Fuji but we were lucky that we had non-cloudy clear days subsequently. Con: It was tiring dragging luggage for 15min to the hotel and google maps helped. There is no path so you share with cars. There was a small part of the walk where you hoped the van or bus or truck stayed in their lane. Please consider offering subsidized or free transport to and from the bus stop. "Very calm and peaceful designed in a lovely way. Good breakfasts in the morning. Tomoko and her team did a great job of looking after me whilst there and going the extra mile to make me feel more at home and understand the island. You will probably need a car to cruise around the island although no entirely necessary , just a lot more convenient."

"Chalet Burlap Furanui is an excellent option if visiting Furano for a ski trip (after three visits to Furano previously, this has been the favourite accommodation wrt value for money). Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. Highly recommend."

"Minatogawa is a small harbor area. It's quiet but chilled out and relaxing. There's nowhere quite like Marinx Classic Harborview Pension. Biggest bed I've had in Japan, great staff, brilliant food. I really needed the chance to relax and I got it. This is an ideal spot to explore Southern and Western Okinawa if you drive. Even for walking There's good beaches nearby and Oujima is a pleasant walk with a lot of friendly cats."
