"Lovely stay at Yufuin. There is a free pick-up and drop-off options available from JR Yufuin Station which is a must unless you want to walk up crazy hills to get to the property. The room we stayed had traditional tatami mats and plenty of space to lounge around before enjoying hot springs. This property allowed us to book a private bath free of charge, and also the public bath that is open til late which was convenient. There is also free Japanese kimono that you can wear during your stay....

"From the moment of pickup at the Ogoto Onsen station and dropoff, the service was flawless! Check-in is completed while seated in the lobby (rather than standing in queue) and many of the staff speak multiple languages. "This was such a special place to stay. We were looking for a relaxing spot to end our trip to Kyoto, and this was exceptional. The food and baths were especially lovely. It’s also walking distance from the monkey forest, which was so fun!"

It's a lot of food so come to each meal hungry. All the staff we interacted with were kind and very helpful.
