The hotel is well situated. It is a 10 minutes walk to the ski resort area. The parking is easy to access. The property is very clean and quiet. The staff helped us with all our questions about the area

Walkable to ski slope. We stayed in one of the Villas - slightly expensive but worth the money for the privacy, kitchenette and own bathroom. Onsen and sauna a bonus. Staff very friendly and willing to help. The Happy Hour (3 in fact) they offer a great deal and gives you the opportunity to meet other guests.

Loved our stay!

Loved our stay at Chalet Burlap! Hotel was not the newest but has a very traditional Japanese rustic charm - very very clean!! We had the traditional tatami rooms which were very nice and comfortable. The staff were always smiley and happy to help and welcome drink in the lobby was a nice touch!

Chalet Burlap Furanui is an excellent option if visiting Furano for a ski trip (after three visits to Furano previously, this has been the favourite accommodation wrt value for money). Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for a ski trip. Close to the resort, shops, food and public transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. I only got the names of Emma and Albert, but all the staff were great people. They went out of their way to help as much as possible. They speak English. Cool lobby/bar/lounge area. Dry ski room storage. Shuttle from station. Good breakfast.

Albert saved me. My back went out on the plane. He saw my distress and kindly moved my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Onsen helped relieve my pain. Draft beer also helped as well as free whiskey. Only downside is as thin walls and 3am snow removal.

The Chalet was informal and very welcoming. The staff is amazing and helped us every day with dinner reservations. The onsen on site was terrific, and the breakfast was delicious. We will return!

Highly recommend! Excellent staff and service. Always helpful and caring. Great breakfast! Shuttle services were terrific and easy to ski and do other activities. Our kids enjoyed the games in the lobby and overall a great atmosphere. We stayed in one of the cottages and were very comfortable.. Thank you would definitely stay again!
