The hostal is situated just in front of the Zurich lake. Beautiful surroundings.The rooms very clean and the breakfast full.

Great scenic location. Good rooms and local amenities.
Breakfast incredibly unsustainable, a lot of meat and dairy is provided- sad news for the animals and the planet. However there were some vegan options.

This hostel is a real gem. Very inexpensive, an easy train ride into Zurich city center and airport, right next to the train station, right on the lake, with a beautiful lakeside park just out the door. Staff are very friendly and helpful, even though I only spoke english. Everything was extremely clean, including rooms, bathrooms, showers, and common areas. The included breakfast was extremely good. This place is just as good as fancy hotels that cost five times more.

Typical youth hostel next to S-bahn station

Pros: Right next to the S-bahn train station and direct trains run between Zurich Hbf and this hostel. Rigth next to the Lake Zurich. Awesome view and you may watch the beautiful sunrise or sunset as well. The hostel is tidy and clean. Typical breakfast buffet.
Cons: Better if the hostel would add a individual power socket next to each bed.
Location: Walk along the Lake Zurich and enjoy beautiful view. Take the boat to cross the lake. Grocery stores and restaurants are next to the station.
