Ice and window screens!! :)
Posted 22 Jul 2023 on HotelsGreat place in the country but still near Zurich! This hotel had ice & window screens!! :) Furniture was IKEA-ish but new. Bathrooms were nicely renovated, although had a shower curtain, not as sanitary as glass. Overall, very nice. Breakfast was very nice too! Great coffee available but not serve yourself. 1st day breakfast server was GREAT, 2nd day the server was crabby & it was not as nice.

Magnificent view of the valley and lake from room 214. Friendly and professional staff. Easy check in and excellent room service. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant.

Perfect stay for us
Posted 21 Jul 2021 on HotelsExactly what we were looking for. A nice, old-fashioned Swiss hotel nested in the countryside of Zürich. Beautiful view, excellent restaurant with friendly service. The only negative aspects are that the rooms are very bare and minimalistic, and the hotel is not geared towards handicapped guests.

Had a nice character to the place.. im sure the views would have been lovely but my stay was hampered by low lying clouds.
Car park was very spacious which was a bonus as i had a van and large trailer.

Everything was great! We watched the sunset at the restaurant, it was lovely.
