The staff was so welcoming and the rooms are very large

There is nothing to dislike. 5 Star Hotel and service. Lovely rooms and food great. Old school proper hotel, highly recommend.

A perfectly adequate hotel. Not what I would call 5 stars. The hotel bar/restaurant were rarely staffed. A very small elevator would bring you to the level of your room. Barely big enough for two people. The room was huge, but mostly unused space. You can tell it’s a very old, historic building. Climate control in the room was not clear. A 55CHF HALF bottle of champagne was in the mini fridge but there was no indication of price until check out. I didn’t get the wow factor for the price and star rating.

Architecturally, speaking, a gorgeous hotel, with large spacious rooms and amenities. The staff members were extremely polite and helpful.

Staff were fabulous,upgraded to superior suite, very beautiful and spacey with nice balcony,about 15 minutes walking from old town.
