The property itself was decent, with clean and comfortable accommodations. However, there were several areas where the experience could be improved. Firstly, the food options were quite limited. There was a lack of variety in the types of food offered, which became repetitive after a few days. Secondly, there was not much to do in the evenings. The hotel did not offer many nighttime activities, making it quite dull after sunset. Additionally, the beach was disappointing. There was a significant amount of muck in the water, making it unpleasant and impossible to swim. Finally, many of the restaurants were closed due to ongoing construction, which was inconvenient and detracted from the overall experience. Overall, while the hotel had potential, these issues significantly impacted our stay. I hope the management addresses these concerns to improve the guest experience in the future.Feel free to modify it as needed to better reflect your personal experience.

Great ac and bed. Room was nice. Pools were very nice. Beach was not swimmable. Pool pars dont open til 11 and close at 6 even for non alcohol which was totally inconvenient. Food was the worst part. Very minimal choices and not great tasting. Very limited hours. Pizza and snack bar were the best food. We did enjoy the pools but really nothing else to do.

Family of 3, two kids .had lots of fun. Good food, staff were amazing.. kids club was nice. There is everything for everyone to do. Pool parties. But one thing the reserving for the 3 resturants was full... only ate buffet snack bar...

Swimming area is so slippery that I fall down along with my 4 year old. There is a construction going on next door from which construction material falls near swimming pool area and on chairs. This hotel is safety hazards and I have checked out after 1 night instead of continue my stay of planned 6 nights.

This was my first time traveling solo ever. I booked a package and stayed at GR Solaris. I truly fell in love and will return here every time. There are plenty of food and drink options. Drinks aren't watered down and the food isn't bland. I highly recommend. The staff works tirelessly to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and loved.

Overall, we had a nice experience. Things we liked was the entertainment was great, food was okay. The restaurants, you had to book days in advance. One of the restaurants, the Mexican food one, we booked and at the moment of the reservation we went down to see that it wasn't operating anymore. The staff overall was good but like every group it has some bad seeds. It felt a little bit not too helpful at times, comparing our other experiences. If you tip well you get a good service, which in my opinion shouldn't be like that considering the amount of money we paid to be there. Tip is courtesy, not mandatory. The building itself is nice we liked that retro Mexican style but the rooms could have been better. Like you would see rusted door handles, rusted screws, or door stoppers, little things that can make big difference. I would say a 3.7 stars would be more accurate for this facility.

The entire staff was friendly and courteous. The entertainment staff in particular was my favorite part of this vacation. I'll highly recommended this resort. Really nice people, clean rooms and bathrooms, clean grounds and polite staff all around.

The only issue is the front desk check in, the person was not rude, but was not customer friendly, no communication skills. The rest of the staff made it up for it, the entertainment staff was AWESOME!! Where this resort fall short this start made up for it. If you do visit please tip them, they deserved it. The restaurant was, expect to be at the buffet alot, it's hard to get reservations for the rest of the restaurant which is kind of misleading when they say they have that many restaurants but you are unable to book it on the date you arrived for a few days later. Overall I'll still give this place a 4 start, but it was fun and safe. Seaweed and huge waves 10 feet from shoreline, so watch out for your kids, we were there in early June, so do some research on seaweeds. I would go back again for sure.
