I will not be referring anyone to the courtyard in Mazatlan nor I would stay there ever. I was treated very poorly since the minute I arrived. First they wanted to charge me again after I had already paid at Expedia. Then I asked if I could get a higher floor since it was to noisy they said that there were no rooms with a king in any floor above the 4th floor that I would have to pay additional to stay in a two queen bed. Then my sister comes to visit me they immediately tell me that she can’t go anywhere in the hotel except to the lobby, I tried to explain that she will not stay she lives there and is just visiting me. Then my husband and I decide to use the pool and went in with a backpack and another person comes and tells us that we can’t bring any food to the pool, we had our personal items only. It really was very embarrassing and very ludicrous. I could not believe how we were treated the employees are in need of training in customer service they are very rude and condescending it was awful. If it wasn’t that I had already paid I would have not stayed there. I felt disrespected and embarrassed. I hope this will give you an idea that something is happening here Marriott I am also a member of the Bonvoy. No amount of confort, decor, or prestige is enough to ignore your poor service when it comes to customer service. Thank you, Sophia

Our stay at this hotel wasn’t at all what we were expecting for the price that we paid high price. Tiny bugs in room especially in restroom never had enough toiletries always having to ask for for a third towel when we reserved for 3 and no shampoos conditioner or bath soap always having to ask for enough of these products. Buffet at hotel isn’t great only the lady that cooks the eggs everything else is cold and gross yogurt is ok and some fruits and breads not at all great also for the big price you pay for the buffet. Pool area is nice but we found a colored condom one day told the personal outdoors but obviously didn’t do anything the thing was still there the following day so gross. They do check that you have your bracelet on at all times . I asked to be woken up at 4:30 am just incase my alarm didn’t go off to go to airport the day we were leaving, and no call wow terrible service I mean terrible they don’t care just take your money. I have been in Marriotts before and believe me they don’t compare to this one not one bit sorry but we won’t stay there again

Our bellman was excellent and friendly, explained the room when he delivered our luggage. Check in staff, Lidia, was also friendly and accommodating. The big downside was the construction that began across the street before 6:30am. After calling front desk due to the loud continuous Jack hammer pounding, front desk simply said there was no construction. Nothing more was done. Upon check out, no mention of the noise or follow up. When I brought up the issue again, check out front desk staff simply said he will let the supervisor know. Being able to sleep soundly while on vacation is a basic requirement. Being woken up at 6:30am to jack hammer for hours is not what we expected. While I understand the property can not control what time others begin construction, I would have appreciate a follow up or acknowledgment from management of the loud disturbance. Rather than being told there was no construction on both occasions of my reporting. I have videos showing how loud the jack hammer was inside of my room.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s doesn’t get much better than this. The staff and the property were amazing! However, the only downside of this place is they close the pool at 8 PM. For that reason alone I may not consider staying there again. If that doesn’t bother you then this place is a 10/10.
