Great stay at Crown plaze Zhenjiang. The room was awesome, with a view to the Changjiang river over the City.

Somebody’s watching me...........
Posted 13 Feb 2018Do not disturb doesn’t mean the same thing here.
My room and belongings were searched while I was out of the room. Didn’t even try to hide the fact they’d been in the room leaving closet doors open and suitcase moved.......Nothing taken but also nothing of value left in the room (I never do).
Maybe it’s just China.....

Nice rooms, ask for a river view

My only criticism is in the book the lounge is advertised as being open at 7am with coffee & a small breakfast buffet, but sign posted said it didn't open until 10 am. I had an early train, so missed breakfast

Convenient location with bus stops in front of hotel to get around the city.
Nice breakfast.

Parking lot at the basement was kind of scary. Got upgraded to a river facing room, the toilet bowl was a bit dirty, didn't like the breakfast. But the staffs were nice

Lovely place to stay
Posted 9 Apr 2016 on HotelsThe hotel is well maintained, modern, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, and although we had some issues with the light switches operating incorrectly, this was quickly fixed by the maintenance staff within 24 hours.
Definitely a good choice if you are visiting Zhenjiang.

Pros: Room, Breakfast, staff, lobby and bar
Cons: Zhenjiang is choked with smog
I've been staying in hotels throughout China for the last two weeks and the Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang is the best so far. This includes the Portman Ritz in Shanghai which was overpriced and just average compared to the Crowne Plaza. The room was fabulous with two full length windows, the breakfast buffet was the best so far in Jiangsu, Taiwan, and Guangdong province and the lobby was excellent. No complaints!!
