Two Oregonians thru Europe
Posted 17 Mar 2023 on HotelsThe quiet country setting was the perfect first night of our tour thru Europe. The historical of a former brickyard/ industrial site added charm and character. In March there were only a few guests. Our room was clean and comfortable. Shower floor was bathroom floor, but functioned well.

The hotel is very nice and situated around an old brick kiln. There are rooms and small holiday houses, which is great for family holidays. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very fresh and tasty.

Pros: The warm welcome, the family atmosphere, the room privacy, the quiet and the rural location.
Cons: I have no suggestions to offer here.
Location: I have an interest in the history of the allied advance into Europe in 1944, and there isn't a more poignant area than Arnhem to visit.
This family run hotel is in a quiet rural location not too far from Arnhem. The hotel itself has an interesting history having been a brick factory as recently as the early 1980's. My room was clean and presentable, it had a smart bathroom and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the home cooked food that was prepared for me, and importantly, I had a great nights sleep ! Recommended !
