Not convinent, long steep walk way steps, to just get down to the service riad. The lights along the steps never on. Very dangerous walk back to the apartment at night.

Beautiful place to stay in Zermatt

Beautiful appartement with amazing view on the Matterhorn. We were a family of 8 staying in the 4 bedrooms penthouse. We loved our stay there and the wellness spa area was a lovely way to recover after a day of hiking. The only comment we have is about the kitchen supplies. If you want to cook a meal for 8 persons, there is very limited kitchen supplies. No scissors, no cutting board, no cheese grater, only 2 small cooking pans. We made a cheese fondue and there were only 6 cheese fondue forks. Luckily, we had friendly neighbors who landed us some extra forks :-)

Apartment was good, but don't stay here unless you want to hike up and down every time you want to leave the apartment (town or skiing). And certainly don't leave anything behind. They will claim it is not there and you will get your items stolen. You have to walk up a very steep, long and narrow way to reach the building. This must be done every single time you want to go to town or skiing. You are able to ski back into the building if you are able to ski to Cervo, take skis off, walk about 100m, put your skis back on and go down a hill behind the building. It's a partial ski in but not a ski out. The apartment itself was nice, but I had a huge issue at checkout. I left behind a scarf, sunglasses and a medicine bag and the staff was very nonchalant about trying to find it. I know for an absolute fact that I left all items inside the closet in the primary room. They were on the 3rd shelf, right hand side. I called the apartments about 3hs after we checked out (before the new guests checked in), when I realized I had left them behind. They said they would check with housekeeping. They called me about 5 minutes later to say nothing was found. I asked them if they checked inside the closet and they said yes, it's standard procedure. I asked them to ask the new guests checking in if they found anything. They refused but said they would call me back (never did). I followed up for 3 straight days and was told "we're not playing the police here". Never got my items back.

Our house ladies as well as our receptionists have taken your matter very seriously and after all your calls tried to help you with your request. Also on your request whether we can ask the guests who have occupied the apartment after you, our staff responded. Of course, we as employees can not go into an apartment and search for Lost & Found Items when it is occupied by other guests again. This should surely be understandable to you. Perhaps our receptionist after your request in this regard answered incorrectly with "we are not the police".If you feel offended by this statement she would like to apologize for it very much and it was from here side not meant badly but maybe she were just surprised about your request. We have sent you a picture of a cosmetic bag and a scarf which we have found 1 week before your Lost & Found message where upon you said this would not be from you. I will send it now again to you in a different e-mail.We are saddened to hear that you do not trust our housekeepers. However, as the hotel management I can assure you that our housekeepers are very honest and any lost & found by our guests is handed in at the reception and reported.Your statement that you have not been called back is also not true. Our receptionist has assured on our request that she has called you back.The statement that things are stolen in our apartment we can not tolerate and accept. Especially not in this case where several employees were involved and did their best to find your things.Thank you for your attention and greetings from Zermatt.Dennis & Mareike Szelkowski

The property was great. Very roomy. Walking distance to old town and many restaurants. You do have to hike up to get to the apartment, which may be difficult for some people, but it's doable.

Simply a stellar view just far enough above town to be very private but close enough to be in the middle of everything., well appointed
