Overall good stay. Hot tub wasn't hot. Rooms got warm but plenty of cold air outside to cool them down. Beds were not super comfortable but they did the job

I had a wonderful stay. This hotel is conventionally located right next to trains, restaurants, and shopping. The staff is very accommodating as well. I would stay here again.

Great location and the 2 Bedroom Suite was comfortable. Unfortunately after we checked out, my father tripped over an inconspicuous metal door stopper just outside the hotel's main entrance. The stopper, though in the middle, was not easily noticeable, causing his left shoe to become trapped, resulting in a fall. He sustained injuries to his chin, forehead, and chest, and his spectacles were damaged when his face hit the ground. While a male staff member at the reception initially provided some assistance, the overall response from the staff was lacking in empathy and concern. Despite his injuries and our distress, they appeared indifferent and quickly resumed their duties on their monitors (Note: there were no other guests nor phone calls that the two staff at the reception attended to during this time), without offering further assistance or expressing empathy. When we sought help in in booking a taxi to the station following the incident, the staff's demeanour remained unfriendly and the quoted price differed from what the driver demanded upon arrival - 18 CHF. Staff did not provide any additional support. Regrettably, my father's chest injury persists to this day, causing him pain whenever he exerts his lungs even slightly. This unfortunate incident has undoubtedly overshadowed our impression of the hotel and highlights the importance of prioritising the safety and well-being of guests, and of compassionate customer service, especially during times of need.

Dear Madam,We sincerely regret your father's accident.Your father didn't get his feet caught in the door stopper on the way out - which stops the door opening - but in the frame.Our receptionist immediately rushed to his side to help him up, as none of the people around him took the initiative. This same receptionist helped him settle on one of our benches in the hotel lobby, brought him some face wipes and asked your permission to provide him with the products he needed to disinfect his wound, which you refused. He then informed you that if you needed anything, you could come to him again, but you refused any further help. Perhaps because of the language barrier, you didn't understand the concern our two on-site receptionists felt when they saw your elderly father fall.We wish your father a good and quick recovery.Best wishes.

True to its stature and reputation, the hotel and its staff is a perfect combination of elegance and convenience for a family ski trip

What a great place to stay in Zermatt! The stay was great, with no issues. Clean and safe. Center of the town and right next to the train station. Five Stars

Great location in central Zermatt and close to transport. Friendly helpful staff. Ski rentals available in the hotel with really helpful staff and storage for equipment. Very handy for the main train station when you have an early start back to the airport.
