This was a beautiful hotel and quite unique in its design . It had won many awards for being environmentally friendly . Staff very helpful.

Great hotel on the water and staff were very helpful. Rooms are very quiet with nice views. Breakfast was very good. Hotel can be very busy as a lot of pre-cruise passengers are staying there. A little bit of a hike to get to DAM Square. Suggest taking transit or Uber.

Underground parking has in and out privileges through out your stay at the hotel and on the day of your check out.
More storage space for clothes would be nice. Lack of a standard stool to keep your luggage open as there is not too many shelves to store your clothes.
Dining - 5 Euro charge for a plain glass of water without even being told upon offering water at the dinner. The request to serve us fast as we were in rush was accommodated which was nice. However, a dinner for two people at 100 Euro was not worth the price of what was ordered. Two days later I even can not remember what was ordered so insignificant it was. Could have a much nice dinner at the same price in the city centre.
Liked a nice touch by the hospitality team by leaving a handwritten Jakarta card addressed to us on arrival and 2nd one when they took care of minor issue at the dinner. The issue was brought up to the waitress only, and she said it is what it is. We let it go as it was really minor. The hospitality team learnt about it somehow and resolved the issue.
Overall it was a nice experience. I would recommend to stay at the hotel at least once when you visit Amsterdam as it is quite an unique hotel.

Beautiful, new property with many amenities. In a pretty location. Not near a lot of attractions, but we enjoy walking.

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Jakarta. We received communication from the hotel prior to check-in to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. Being out of the city centre meant there was less noise and crowds making it a quiet stay. We dined at the restaurant for dinner and not only was there a good choice of food, it was also delicious and well priced. Breakfast provided a good range of options as well. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to take you to and from the train station at the top of the city centre or it's in walking distance if you prefer to walk. Timo was a star! He made us feel welcome at check-in and was polite and friendly when we interacted with him around the hotel during our stay. We would highly recommend staying here if you visit Amsterdam.
