Außerordentlich Welcoming, authentisch, zwischen Wunder des Meeres und einzigartiger Wald ! Einheimische Dorf und Landwirtschaft auch Interesse und Unterstützung würdig.

My wife and I spent four nights at Swahili Divers and truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. Although the higher prices for food and drink were understandable based on location, the quality of the meals could be improved. I would highly recommend spending some time with Mike, Glen and Arla and the amazingly peaceful location.

The effort to get up to lodge is definitely worth it. Cecilia made me feel at home right away in the comfortable clean rooms. The food was great, definitely try the fish curry and fish kabobs. Special tanks to Glen Campbell and the dive shop staff for a very professionally run operation that made diving in the pristine reefs a true joy. Besides the great room, food, staff and diving one of my favorite memories will be watching the bioflorence light up the breaking waves off beach side deck.

Wild with class

The lodge was exciting. The wildlife was abundant and Ngezi forest was just around the corner. Ceilia and Mike went out of their way to make our stay comfortable from design details to travel assistance. The diving and snorkeling experts made our trip more interesting and informative. Enjoyed the Masai wait staff and the sunsets we’re beyond nd compare.

Good hotel pros: accommodating owner and helpful made it a personal stay great place to relax with good views and can even have a personal bit of the beach for your entire stay. can't get this anywhere else near zanzibar amazing sunset and views and fireplace if wanted nice room, good cleaners, generous with towels plenty to do cons: budget room does not have hot water restaurant can be costly for the budget traveller overall very happy with our stay and grateful to the staff would come again

Perfect location, excellent management

Pros: The management, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the chameleons in the grounds, the range of alcoholic beverages, the beauty of the beach
Cons: The day time is electricity supply
Location: Desert island stuff, but with a diving boat, a fishing boat, superb bird life in the nearby forest, watching in comfort as the sunset over the water
Mike, born Lebanese but well travelled and fluent in English and French, took over this Lodge in February and now runs a superb operation. The diving is varied, of world class, and guided and taught by the expert Marcel. The attractive island of Pemba is more fertile and ore undulating than Zanzibar. The Lodge is located in the north-west and requires a 75 minute ridefrom the small but efficient airport through delightful villages and fields and spice farms, with a final 10 minutes of pristine tropical forest with unique bird life. We spent 4 days scuba diving and snorkelling. The latest equipment is provided on site. Afternoons and dusk need to be spent on one of the many settees, hammocks and beds that stretch on wooden decks or look out points along the beach front. Mike is very ready to accommodate dietary requirements. The local fishing boats are wooden and under classic sail. The squid and fresh fish are excellent. The gardens are growing a wide variety of fruit and vegetables. an experience not to be missed
