I booked this hotel as it was one of the only hotels in Zagreb with a pool (and pretty much the only one with an outdoor pool) for an anniversary treat on the last night of our holiday. The hotel is outside of the centre but I was willing to be further out with the idea that we’d spend a few hours by the pool. Unfortunately on check in we were told that the pool and rooftop bar were closed - firstly being told that they don’t open usually until June and when I mentioned that it says May in the information they gave me at check in and on the website, they said it was refurbishment. It was such a disappointment and such a shame as it meant we had to change our plans and didn’t get to relax in the sun. This should be communicated to guests so they can make an informed decision as id probably have stayed in the centre if I knew there was no pool. Aside from this, our room was lovely - we had a room on the 18th floor with a bath. It was spotlessly clean and the views were fab. The bed was very comfortable. I’d probably not stay that far from the city again if there was no access to the pool but with a pool, the hotel would be worth it.

It was really nice to be met at reception by such a nice, smiling, helpful, friendly staff. Congratulations!
But our room, while comfortable, was seriously weird. It had weights and strength training gear, including rings hanging from the ceiling. And a tv mounted on the ceiling. And it was really dark and sorta sparkly.
I mean fine, once we got the rings out of the way, but a bit bizarre.
