Wonderful location on lake, beautiful 14th century small walled city , had ferries available close to montreaux, Geneva and Chamonix for lake and mountains fantastic

Posted 30 Sep 2023 on HotelsAbsolutely amazing stay! One of my favorite places now! I loved my balcony overlooking the water - it was so peaceful! And the receptionists were so kind and friendly. The restaurant on the water was amazing as well - those views!

My room had 8 spiders occupying much of the ceiling, two of them very large by any European standard.
A few more, freshly killed, were blotches on the ceiling

Disappointing
Posted 7 Sep 2023 on HotelsHotel is in a perfect spot for views of lake and marina but it is in real need of an upgrade. It’s tired and warrants only a 3 star rating at most. When we were there we only saw one member of staff very helpful but the bar was closed as was the restaurant other than lunch on some days
Beds unbearably firm!
It feels it’s living in the 1980s.

Staff was very helpful.
Room and hotel very clean.
Right next to dock for ferry from Nyon.
Lovely little balcony with a view of the lake.
Air conditioned room.
