Amazing ranch experience

Posted 15 Jan 2019 on Hotels
We had a lovely stay at Stagecoach. We went on two rides a day, mostly with the same horses, and cantering through the desert is certainly a highlight of our vacation. There were plenty of activities to do while we were there (eg ATV instead of riding) and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Great horseback riding. Very expensive.

Posted 8 Jan 2018
This place is for horseback riding and nothing else. The other amenities are not very good. Took my daughter here because they also advertised archery, which consisted of 2 very old bows and 5 busted up arrows. The rooms are nice lots of hot water, the beds and pillows are crappy and probably original. So maybe 20 years old. The food is good but very plain. Because it was so expensive $2700 CAD or $2200 USD for 4 nights will not go back.

Hi Rick, we are so sorry to hear that your stay at the ranch did not meet your expectations. We change out our pillows annually and am very surprised that yours were not to your satisfaction. I wish you had told us as we have a full reserve of brand new pillows in the laundry room that we could have provided you. All the mattresses in the ranch were replaced last year and are quite new. We understand that individual guests have different mattress preferences but the ones you had were definitely new. Regarding our archery we try very hard to give guests an authentic old western feel. All our activities are centered around that old west feel and we want guests to experience what it was like to shoot bow and arrows from back in the day. We do not feel modern bows would convey that feel. We thoroughly enjoyed having you and your daughter here at the ranch and it really appeared as if you both had a good time. We are so disheartened to hear that this was not the case. We do hope that you both got back home safely and the rest of your vacation went much better.

Definitely Ranch!

We had an amazing adventure! The staff were EXCELLENT hosts. We had the Duke room. It was clean and had plenty of towels and extra linens(as guests rooms aren't cleaned daily, but it's a Ranch so, that's what you do, make ur own bed). No tv in the room, and my fiancé as big of a sports fan as he is, didn't even mind! Our guide was Dallas and he delivered!!! They even fried up the rattlesnake for us! Dallas handmade a gun holster with the rattlesnake skin...it was quite the memory we made. Thank you JP & Trish and the rest of the ranch hands. We will be back!

A new and plesant experience.

Totally not what we expected and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I is off the beaten path (several miles of dirt roads to get there (normal for the Az. area), but once there the owners were very hospitable, friendly and service oriented. The don't have a liquor license but you can take your own if you wish. We were there just for the night but look to return when we can stay a few days. Their food was good but you have to eat there since Kingman is the closest town and it is about an hour away or Lake Havasu City is the other direction and it is 45 minutes to an hour drive from the ranch.

Slow season....slow program

Greeted and welcomed with a tour. Friendly staff and soon learned their names. Went to relax and ride. Only 1 other guest at the time, so not able to keep busy as I expected. Food prepared on time and each day was a wide selection of tasty meals/

Perfekt
