Fun place to stay at. It was very clean, staff were very friendly. Loved how they greeted us with a glass of cava. They also had a great cocktail hour, yummy cheese spread to go with the wine. Breakfast spread was good, with lots of healthy and Vegetarian options. I typically don’t like breakfast at hotels but this was delicious.

Overpriced and below average accommodations.
Posted 25 Feb 2024 on HotelsOverpriced and far from perfect. Should have stayed elsewhere.
I booked two nights for a pre-Valentines weekend with my Wife and had to stay in two different rooms Friday and Saturday since they were fully booked.
First thing to go wrong was the check-in process. Since we were arriving past 7pm we were told there would be no one available at the front desk so we had to get our key from a lock box with instructions to get to our room and had to give a credit card number over the phone.
First night's stay was in the Deluxe King Room #7 on the 3rd floor. First impressions were it is in dire need of a makeover. My Wife and I were both disappointed since this was supposed to be a nice addition to our dinner reservations at The French Laundry Saturday. We looked at each other and could only say that at least the hotel is in walking distance to the restaurant. I still can't figure out the whole decor of the room. It's just old, boring and dim looking.
We switched rooms at 11am and this time stayed in Room #3 the Petite Queen on the 2nd floor. The room is smaller than a dorm room and laughable with two people in it. It is that small.
So the Deluxe King was $466.57 and Petite Queen was $362.88 and I'm sitting here still trying to figure out why?!
Breakfast options in the morning are good but hot items are luke warm and so is the coffee.
The exterior, lobby and dining area are the best looking of the place and that's not saying much.
I would never stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we are sorry for your disappointment. We very much strive to ensure our guests are aware of the front desk hours, prior to reservation, so are sorry that you were unaware. We also apologize for your disappointment with the size of the Petite Queen guestroom. As a historic property, our guestrooms do differ in size and we strive to make this known by detailing the dimensions of the guestroom on our website. Again we always hope to offer a lovely stay for our guests and wish you wonderful future travels.

Great Getaway
Posted 22 Jan 2024 on HotelsNormally check in is 4pm or after, but I was notified that our rooms were ready for check in ahead around 2:45pm. Love the hotel and the location, close to everything.

A cute place with excellent location and a beautiful rooftop for a drink in the evening or an afternoon tea.

Disappointed ……
Posted 7 Sep 2023 on HotelsFor the $400/night price tag of our stay it wasn’t worth it and will not be coming again. Bedroom is small- had to figure out where to place our 2 carry-on luggages, can’t imagine if we had checked bags with us too, A/C unit was for combined rooms & downstairs- not in the room so it was warm and had to use a tan, pillows were thin and uncomfortable, shower was very small -barely could turn into, toilet had low pressure, no amenities, breakfast was cooked for a home style family meal not for a hotel size crowd - basically had a waffle because there was never any eggs or fruit left for us. Will be doing the drive to and from San Fran and Napa next time or just stay in Napa at a chain hotel. Not worth it.
