Character B&B with great host

Lovely character cottage with plenty charms. Host Liz was accommodating and informative. Continental breakfast with fresh fruits and fresh bread is adequate. The only drawback for us is that there’s no en-suite and there is a step on route which could be a problem in the night.

Thankyou for your review. In response I have to say we clearly state that that we are not ensuite, to ensure that guests are aware of this before booking. This is reflected in the price of £99 for two, including breakfast. We also keep all landing lights on at night so that there is never an issue with one small step on the way to the bathroom. And everyone else up to now has loved our breakfast with fresh homemade bread.

What can I say about this charming little b&b From the start Liz the owner was engaging texting us about our arrival and if we needed anything. She went above and beyond in helping us . I would recommend this to anybody looking for a quite and Delight full taste of North Yorkshire. Icing on the cake took the shape of breakfast mama Mia fantastic start to the day . 5 star rating on service and a beautiful smile .

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely b&b, hosts were great and very friendly. Lovely breakfast and a lovely local pub for the evening, had a walk out to see the local area and some great things to see including the nearby Newburgh house, would highly recommend 👍

Beautiful cosy cottage. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!
