We are Diamond IHG members and stay at a lot of 4-5⭐️ hotels. For the price of the room it was so crammed very disappointing especially seeing we paid for an upgraded king suite. Beautiful bathroom…..watch your toes…..in order to get to the sink you must watch you don’t catch your foot on the door that opens on to the vanity very dangerous Front desk staff was not overly friendly upon check in…… just matter of fact like. Yet later in the evening and this morning staff was very hospitable. Dining room staff were amazing very good breakfast

Overall a very good hotel. But the first morning the fire alarm went off at 655am. No fire. Same morning no hot water.

Lovely hotel just 10 minutes walk from the centre of York. Situated in a student area but it is quiet and there's lots of lovely cafes and restaurants only a few minutes away. Hotel was stunning, modern and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and we'd definitely stay again. Breakfast was amazing.
