From the moment we walked into City guest house we felt welcomed and at home with Julie and Allan. Julie introduced us to the layout of the town with a map and gave us some suggestions on where to start. Allan took our bags and brought them up to our room for us so we didn't have to. Everything about this property was immaculately clean and tidy and well put together. We were provided with everything we needed without having to ask. Every morning our breakfast was ready for us and the hospitality was amazing. We enjoyed the little chats we had with our hosts and they always made us feel more like friends than guests.

Julie and Allan were the best of the stay!! Always giving tips and asking if we needed anything. The breakfast was incredible and we got a room upgrade for free. They paid attention to every single detail of our stay, including preparing a binder with recommendations, useful numbers and fan facts about the city! Everything was wonderful, specially the handmade breakfast they served everyday with a smile

Fantastic place
5/10 mins to the town
Breakfast was lovely
Owners are warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble.
Rooms cosy and comfortable
Bed was very comfortable
I Had a really restful night
I was a lone traveller and I felt safe and secure
Close to shops, restaurants and amenities
Excellent information folder in the rooms with lots of information on the history of the building and area and shops, pharmacy etc
I would highly recommend this place, not highly modern but traditional but lovely none the less.

Sweet family business run by a kind and caring couple. Nice touches including a home-cooked breakfast. Close to all attractions but away from the crowds. Recommend if you're looking for something small and personal. No need to worry about the secondary emails from eviivo. The Expedia reservation is sufficient.
