Incredible old ryokan now functioning as a hostel. Some parts of the building are showing signs of age but would still thoroughly reccomend.

Fantastic stay
Posted 5 Nov 2019 on HotelsHad a great stay in a clean and comfortable environment. There was good locker space, curtains on the bunk bed, a spacious room and a nice kitchen and common room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and let me use their laptop for five minutes. It is also close to all amenities and public transport.

Kind and helpful staff, and comfortable sturdy and well set-up beds. However, this property suffers from some structural issue as the layout is atrocious (eg the sink is through the kitchen, the shower is in the lounge, the bedroom layout wastes heaps of space in corners & behind lockers, the kitchen has no counter space). The lounge is cramped with poor seating and a TV (yuck) but could be improved by ditching the TV and putting a few small couches / bean bags & another little table.

A cosy little place
Posted 12 Dec 2017 on HotelsA family run, friendly little hostel with a very homey feel. Wonderfully close to the JR station and very easy to find since it is across the road from the baseball stadium. All the good eats of Chinatown are around you and it is about a 20 minute walk to the harbour

Stayed 2 nights. Staff was very welcoming and had good suggestions on what to see in the area. Flexible with accommodating my restricted check-in time. Cozy atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Yokohama Budget Hostel
Posted 25 Sep 2016 on HotelsLocated near the Yokohama Chinatown and the stadium, you never need to worry about the dining options. The open space is a great place to exchange information. The only drawback would be the laundry services. There's a curfew for the laundry services.

Small but comfy
Posted 5 Aug 2016It's at 3rd floor without elevator. The location just right behind the Yokohama stadium and really close to china town. The staff is really nice and breakfast is included. There is one sink inside the room so it's convenient to wash our face or hand. Overall is pretty nice.

Great place to stay
Posted 13 Apr 2016 on HotelsThe hostel is clean and comfortable! Great place to meet people passing through if you need advice on what to see or do. Around the corner from a convienent store and 24 hour beefbowl. Right next to China town and the harbor park with views of the Ferris wheel.

Recommended, very close to station & Chinatown
Posted 16 Mar 2016 on HotelsHad a lovely stay at this hostel. The owners are very, very friendly...the language barrier was a bit difficult but we got by and the lady was so nice. It is in an ideal location, not even 5 minutes walk from the train station. The rooms were big, bed was super comfortable and breakfast (albeit it basic) in the morning was lovely :) Very quiet and no noise during the night. Everyone seems very respectful and it is just a great, clean hostel to get your head down for the night and to explore Yokohama from. Could not recommend it enough!
