Nice Place to stay

Great pick!!
Posted 6 Feb 2023 on HotelsGreat area, very convenient!! Room was modern and comfortable! The staff were so kind and helpful!! The hotel was very quiet too. It has all the amenities you need plus a robe & slippers!! So close to major shopping and dining areas. 3 min to the train station!

The only negative was the A/C. The room was too warm.
I really liked the bed and pillows. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is really good for the Best part of Yokohama!

My usual Bashamichi hotel
Posted 29 Sep 2021 on HotelsIn the past few years I've spent a lot of time in the area near Kannai and Bashamichi stations.
The Richmond Hotel Yokohama Bashamichi is an excellent choice.
A professional and helpful staff.
A very convenient location including right next to the Bashamichi station, near many restaurants, and interesting locations including an Italian mini-market.
Very good WiFi with good upload and download speeds, even though I usually bring my own data service for work.
A very nice and strong shower.
Very good restroom in general including a Toto washlet.
A good office chair, which can be rare in Japanese hotels.
Comfortable bed even if a bit on the smaller side.
Overall, a professional and helpful staff, great location, and great price. There used to be a Tully's coffee in the first floor but now it's a Royal's Cafe＆Shop (of Royal Host). They're both great choices for a morning coffee or breakfast.
