A Dartmoor Jewel
Posted 28 Feb 2024 on HotelsWalk Hampton Inn is full of character and delightfully situated next to Dartmoor. The experience is brought to life by the extremely friendly staff who go the royal mile to ensure their guests are looked after. This was the first trip with our Springer Spaniel and she was made to feel as much at home as we were. Brilliant atmosphere at the bar in the evening.

Great little pub. Surprisingly spacious and modern rooms. Food and beverage selection was excellent and service very fiendly and welcoming. On the downside the pub entrance was having some excations hence had to go around the back to enter - no doubt this will be fixed in the future. Also the wifi was a bit patchy in the room at times - but otherwise a pleasnat stay despite the incessant rain

If you want the modern bathroom of a hotel then this isn't for you but if you want a night in a 17th-century pub then it's absolutely perfect! The staff are friendly, the food is good and the bed is comfortable. It was a perfect place to stop over.
