Shower curtain rod was broken, the soap dispenser pump in the bathroom did not work and the bathroom heating lamp switch was slightly damaged.
Otherwise, the stay was lovely. The view from the main lodge was amazing and location of the cabin was quiet.

we had a family vacation to YNP. Stayed in "cabin" J4...we love wildlife and saw a mule deer buck, bison and Elk out the front door. We also had a scenic look through our large window behind us where we saw numerous elk with calves and two grizzlies. Please stay aware of the wildlife.

For the amount of money we paid we were really disappointed. The cabins are old fashioned, although some aspects have been updated, the beds were excellent. There was rubbish on the floor behind the bin when we arrived. There was no soap in the holder, and we had an infestation of flies. For £400 per night we expected better. And when we went for breakfast in the main lodge it was like a glorified McDonalds, but four times as expensive. Again for the money paid we expected more. This is not a cheap option, for what it was the cost should have been about a third of what we paid.

The inside of the cabin is clean and tidy despite a spider in the shower and on one of the beds. However this is Yellowstone so I expect it to be a little rustic. Also the road in the facility is a little rough. For over $400 a night I expected a little better.

The only good thing is it in the park. The restaurant was awful and ran out of things as time went on. Every time we received our food it was incorrect. The rooms were filthy. The carpet was dirty and I asked 3 times for someone to clean it. For the price it should have been much better and have more convivences (tv, internet, refrigerators and microwaves).

Our cabin was perfect, we woke to 4 deer out the picture window on the back of the cabin. The sunrise view over Lake Yellowstone from the lodge porch was magnificent. Staff were so friendly and welcoming.

I spent a great week at the Lake with my dad. The cabins are easy to get to and park near the entrance. My dad enjoyed walking the area and taking photos. You can get to the canyon in 20 minutes, old faithful in 40, down to Grand Teton in an hour, and up to Mammoth Hot Springs in 45 minutes. Yellowstone is amazing and this sits right in the center. The accomodations are typical for a national park. No TV, standard tub shower. The water was always warm and sufficient. Good mattresses.
