Very friendly. Great location for exploring old Yangon on foot. Everyone helpful. Excellent value. Please note, the hotel has been renamed "Yangon Urban Hotel".

Aung Tha Pyay Hotel stay Yangon
Posted 25 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe staff was super helpful and friendly. They went out of the way to help me with currency exchange. The building is Old but functional. Closer to many attractions. Easy to get taxis if walking is not an option. Early check in and late checkout was easy.

Pleasant budget hotel in downtown Yangon, near interesting eating and drinking places and not far from station (though a taxi would be needed if you have luggage). The staff were lovely, pleasant and helpful. Would stay again

This hotel was in an excellent location. Close to many good restaurants, and the best one is adjacent to this hotel.
The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was also reasobly priced. I highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.
